Hi, What will be the main difference between google sponsored "MPW" programs and IEEE sponsored? I read that IEEE project has more focus on IP design. So should the design for this project be IP-centric?

The main difference is that we will have regular meetups and you have access to mentors. Your design does not have to be IP centric, but it can be. Please refer to the wording in the call for proposals.
