Yeah, cross posting is often considered bad-etiquette. Look at the channel members, lots of people are in all the channels you're posting in, thus you're forcing them to see those (huge) posts twice, that's needless spamming. Pick the channel you think is most relevant and stick to it.

That'd be one option, but you can choose any channel that you believe is most relevant to the specific news you're relaying.
