# openlane
@User, @User: Hello, currently using the flow through docker is the recommended method; it's a controlled environment that guarantees you're deterministically getting exactly the same results we're getting. However, we're anyway working on instructions on how to run natively without docker. In principle, all you need is to simply install all of the tools used by openlane with the right versions, and that's it. Until full instructions are available, you can have a look the Dockerfiles for the tools (under
) to know the exact versions needed (commit hash) and how to build them.
