OL has some extra tools beyond ORFS (cvc, magic, netgen). If you are using the mpw shuttle than OL is required, otherwise it is up to you. The long term goal is to unify the two but that is proceeding slowly. OL generally wants to use docker but ORFS doesn't if that matters.
