Hi <@U016EM8L91B>, I have the Klayout Metal Minimum Clear Area Density Checked FAILED error, but the log reports a negative density which I don't really understand. This check is to ensure a minimum area without metal (prevent a density that's too high)? I have attached an example of the error viewed in Klayout. I was wondering if you could help me understand this error. Thank you.

It doesn't even make sense to run pattern density checks on a subcell.  Pattern density checks should only be run on a chip top level.

Please alert Jeff DiCorpo;  I don't know what's going on here but the error is competely invalid and the check should never have been made.
