Hello @Mitch Bailey what is the parameter <types> mean in off_grid command ?
Help is not containing any information!

off_grid types pitch why
Types is a list of types that will be checked for off-grid positions, and may be any set of types with no restrictions. Pitch is the spacing of the mininum manufacturing grid.
@Eslam Morsie
@Tim Edwards I believe types here refer to either a layer or datatypes?
Is that correct?
@Eslam Morsie
Here is the definition of types:

"off_grid" is not a command, but a DRC check type. It is very, very difficult to make an off-grid error in magic, though, because its database is an integer grid at the 5nm limit.

@Tim Edwards Thanks

FYI, I found out today that the precheck has the off-grid error check in klayout commented out. I don't know who did that, when, or why, but it should not have been. I think Jeff gave you instructions on how to make sure that check is active in your local precheck?
a
@Tim Edwards no worries. I appreciate all the help.
Thanks for all the help.
We are fixing it right now.
But I didn't get anything from @jeffdi. He only mentioned that we could use Klayout to do the check.
@Eslam Morsie is currently working on fixing the layout.

@Amro Tork the klayout drc tech file is available through open_pdks (in libs.tech/klayout). Near the top, there are a set of boolean parameters for enabling front-end, back-end and offgricks. I’d recommend setting just offgrid checks initially, and loading and running in klayout. the offgrid checks are fast.
a
@jeffdi That's what we are doing manually now. But I was wondering if there is a way to do that inside the precheck.
I want to run the precheck and make sure it's clean at the end.
