06/18/2021, 4:49 AM@User Strange problem in magic manual routing. The design is drc cleaned, but error ocurrs when I try to route the pin. It says M2/M3 spacing problem...The grid is 0.5um, so it is definitely larger than 0.4um and this happens when I am trying to route the M2 pin...Layout in innovus is also attached for reference! Thanks!

06/18/2021, 10:17 PMI did my layout using LEF, before, the error happens when the first pin connection is drawn.

Later, when I swap the LEF with GDS the DRC error disappears.

06/18/2021, 10:24 PMIt might be worthwhile to note that OBS is covering the surrounding of the PIN. How would magic interpret OBS in LEF, will magic think OBS as metal layers?

06/19/2021, 1:14 AMYes, magic will interpret OBS as the same as metal, and treat it the same for width and spacing rules. There should never be OBS on top of a pin, for example.
