Sorry for a bit of offtopic, but let me introduce myself quickly: I am a digital design engineer who, after many years in the industry, is thinking of getting out of the rat race, and make some contribution to either FOSS EDA software and/or participate on some openTapeOut project. Just trying to figure out the way at the moment. I hope joining this channel is a first good step towards a change in this direction 🙂

If you want to be involved in FOSS EDA then the OpenROAD project could be a good place. I'm glad to chat if you are interested.
