For other people who might run into same issue. Issue was actually the xschem symbol issue not model issue. I confirm this, i have now updated my open_pdks installation and will check all resistors. The resistor test schematic that used to run with no errors now no more runs, some resistors have the bulk terminal removed, some other do not have the 'mult' parameter, so i will update the symbols accordingly.
