It is definitely going to DRC the SRAM unless you tell it not to. This is done by setting

MAGIC_DRC_USE_GDS

to 0, in order for it to use the abstract views. This will be included in the release notes when rc5 is out to master.

Ok, I can add that. Ideally I would have loved to use GDS for all cells except the SRAM, not sure that's doable.
