where can I find more information about writing format 35 tech file? the official website only has docs up to format 33 but the skywater pdk tech files are all in format 35
t
http://opencircuitdesign/magic/techref/maint2.html has the specification for the most recent tech file format. It is only my omission in failing to note that the title of the page is out of date (in fact the title of that page claims that it is format 31). (And I will fix the incorrect format numbers).
@Anderson Hsieh: I just updated the documentation web pages to list changes for formats 34 and 35 and changed the title of the tech format documentation page to state that it is for format 35. If you see any other discrepancies, please let me know. Thanks!

@Tim Edwards Thank you! I really appreciate it!
Sorry @Tim Edwards I'm having trouble seeing the changes. Is it in the "Technology Files" section under this link http://opencircuitdesign.com/magic/
there seems to be multiple places with the same set(different version) of technology file documentation on the two sites
t
If you can pinpoint the discrepancies, I'd appreciate it.

This page here is separated from the main documentation page for everything else, the technology file in main documentation page doesn't have the format 35 updates, and i don't think you can navigate from main documentation page -> technology files tab to the updated one here aside from those, I also found this PDF, which has pretty similar content but not sure if that's updated
t
I did another round of updates to make sure that everything is titled "magic version 8.3" everywhere. The page that you mentioned that is "separated" should be the same one linked from the main page via the buttons in the left frame. You might need to do a "frame refresh" (Right-click, select "This Frame", select "Reload Frame") to get the updated material. The command reference files also needed updating, but they're in the repository itself, so they will not update for another approximately 10 hours when the mirror copy is done overnight to github. The PDF is just a copy of the older, LaTeX-based documentation. I moved it to HTML and have not attempted to keep the LaTeX files up to date. It says magic version 7.4, and that's correct for the (outdated) PDF file contents.

Thank you for the clarification and making the changes! I see them up on the website now, this tool really helped me a lot

Thank you for pointing out the discrepancies. Most of them are things I have seen before, but at times when I was busy doing something else and didn't have time to get to it right away, and then promptly forgot about it.
