12/12/2023, 12:53 AMWe don't have probing capability at Efabless, but there are several groups who have been doing probing; I know that Brian Hoskins at NIST has ordered probe cards that I think were specifically designed for the Caravel chip.

12/12/2023, 7:45 PMBrian says that he never did the Caravel-footprint probe; he changed to an internal set of pads with a different configuration and abandoned the Caravel footprint idea. But the internal pad arrangement is also something to think about.
He gets his probe cards from Accuprobe and says that a custom design runs around $2500.
