How do I properly mark a high-voltage (deep-)N-well, particularly in magic? Do I just cover it with areaid.hvnwell? vhvi.drawing?

Drawing the nwell with the

mv*

layers in Magic produces the same GDS as a standard nwell with the addition of

hvi.drawing

That should be sufficient for the nwell. For diffusion and transistor identifier layers, there are also

mv*

variants.
