Yes, there was a ticket filed against that error in the caravel repository issue tracker somewhere. For MPW-two, it will always read all zeros.

Is this issue fixed MPW-6 onwards?

I'd have to look up the issue in the issue tracker but yes, it was corrected for either MPW-6 or MPW-7.

@Dinesh A Not sure when the fix got pushed to production tapeout. Shouldn’t be too hard to check though - just load one of the final oasis files from https://foss-eda-tools.googlesource.com/third_party/shuttle/sky130/mpw-004 and one from https://foss-eda-tools.googlesource.com/third_party/shuttle/sky130/mpw-002 and do an XOR on

user_id_programming

in klayout. The oasis files are under

main/oas

for each slot.
