I found a good source that has all the implementation details for a relatively basic current mode buck converter. I am going to start working on simulating and building all the blocks to fab this on sky130. Ideally this would supply the logic voltage from a 3V3 supply. If it ends up being small enough it could get integrated into other designs. This paper should be open to the public? Let me know if not and I can find another source: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/2982444_A_monolithic_current-mode_CMOS_DC-DC_converter_with_on-chip_current-sensing_technique
