@User: FYI, yesterday I reversed the TXT and PIN purposes in magic so that they align with what's in the Calibre decks. After carefully looking at some of the cells, I still find that the pin definitions in the standard cell libraries are just weird (a label on a text purpose and a rectangle on a pin purpose, with only an ad-hoc relationship that the pin position is inside the area of the rectangle). It appears that only the standard cell libraries use this mixture of text and pin purposes. If magic re-writes those as both text and geometry on a pin purpose, Calibre should be okay with that. I do not think this change requires any modifications in your scripts for the SRAM stuff, but you probably want to verify that.
