@User, [EDIT] the correct bind-key is '!' not alt-k for breaking a wire... for the alt-k, do this: first highlight one or more nets ('k') the net(s) will be colored, then if you press 'Alt-k' those nets will be selected. but this does the whole net, even the ones connected by name with labels.
