@User, elements connected to nets to be selected together with the net when doing the 'Shift-delete' command is decided using the 'type' attribute of the symbol. ('label, 'probe' 'ngprobe' 'ipin', 'opin', 'iopin' are all selected, all other types are not). I see now i was wrong , teh command to break wires at instance pins is not '`Alt-k`' but '`!'` , sorry my fault. You can see the correct keyboard accelerators on the right side of the menus.
