@User: The RISC-V is just our choice for the management region for bootstrapping the device and managing the padframe and any experiments we run ourselves in the management region. You can connect to it or not as you choose. The "harness" is the entire chip, but you can be entirely isolated from the management region, the RISC-V processor, and the wishbone bus, and do whatever you want to with the user space. The processor and the wishbone bus will be there if you want to use it to tap into signals in your user space for diagnostics and such.
