@User: Is it possible to control the pitch of the power grid? To automate power routing, we could hook the SRAM internal grid to the external power grid, but because currently the pitch of the metal 4 power stripes is too low, vias cannot be dropped from metal 5, which is at least 1.6um wide, to met4 without shorting into the adjacent stripes. (This is assuming it's not a good idea to route the power and ground pins of the SRAM with the std cell router at minimum widths of the metal layers)
