@User: The intention is that we provide the packaging and the circuit boards, assembled. The number of chips and number of projects is determined by the reticle size and how many times the reticle is replicated per wafer, so we don't have a lot of control over that. Because of that, if we give you one chip or one hundred, the cost will be the same (for the chips). If I recall correctly, the expectation is, in fact, that most people will want around 10 to 20 parts, so that is how many we will assemble. I used to do a lot of projects through MOSIS; it's a very similar thing, you get back 50 parts, most of which are sent back as bare die in a box and end up on the shelf collecting dust.
