@User for production they also need test vectors so they can mark each die as good or not before cutting up the wafer. For a shuttle like this they just send you everything they make without testing. They idea is that even if some of them have manufacturing faults, with 50 or so the chance of none of them being good is essentially zero (not counting problems in the design, but that is your problem)
