@User: No; it's a fix specifically for a couple of device layouts that are multi-fingered and use the "nf" parameter. ngspice did not search for compatible bsim4 bins based on "W/nf" as it should, but was looking just at "W", resulting in a failure to find an appropriate bin in some cases, and finding the wrong bin in other cases. If you really need to use those fingered devices for some reason, I can get you the details of which branch of the ngspice git source you should use. Otherwise, I expect it to eventually make its way into the ngspice base code, probably in a slightly different form than the development branch patch.
