@User (and others): With something like 30 years of experience using Magic, I am probably not switching to Klayout any time soon. That said, I have nothing against Klayout and give it my support where I can. I have nominal support in open_pdks for klayout, but since it is not my tool, then I need to rely on other people to let me know if and when it the setup is not correct, or it needs supplementary scripts for the PDK support, etc. I will merge pull requests with klayout updates when they are sent to me, but I will probably not do more than cursory checks of the contents.
