@User an ideality factor greater than one will increase your delta Vbe expression which may be what you're seeing. Assuming that's the case, based on your numbers (and that everything else is perfectly described by the Schockley equation) the ideality factor is 1.075. I think it should be a bit better for diode connected bipolars though. What model are you using?
