Hi, I've recently gotten into open hardware design, and I'm comparing openLANE and openROAD. They both seem similar, especially using the same tools. One area of difference is explicit documentation in openLANE about chiplevel assembly with macros. On the other hand, there seems to be more promotion of the openROAD project, which if I understand correctly includes the openROAD flow repo for automating design. I'm hoping some of you can explain what other differences are between the projects, even at the philosophical level.
