Hi all,
We're glad to announce that we changed our development architecture to follow a more agile friendly approach. Now, development is done in Pull Requests from the maintainers' & contributors' forks directly into master, allowing live updates and live fixes instead of the old long development cycle.
Tool updates and versioning is now done through automated PRs by the CI/CD flow. Automatic tagging of the latest stable version is done overnight to keep the documented instructions referencing a stable version all the time.
More useful reports & logs are now created in the run directory, different formats of DRC reports readable by various tools.
Automatic screenshots of layouts and other cool features are now live on the master. Check the latest
release.
We are also now live on ReadTheDocs!!! Thanks to the tremendous efforts of
@User, here is the link:
https://openlane.readthedocs.io.
Also, the amazing
@User is working on making the OpenLane Docker image multi-arch here
https://github.com/efabless/openlane/pull/161.
Our CI and development cycle is still in its infancy, so we're happy to receive any feedback or contributions that could help us improve.
I would also like to remind you that this channel doesn't have the Github notifications from PRs or commits; if you want to view those, please join
