@User: The patch I have currently is uni-directional and would solve the actual error and Calibre would show clean. Until I finish the work, magic will continue to show an error (which would then be a false positive instead of a true positive). I need to update the magic techfile in open_pdks to enable the feature. Then, it works much like the "FIXED_BBOX" property; you can create a "property MASKHINTS_PPLUS" that contains four coordinate values and represents where the PPLUS layer should go (likewise for NPLUS). That said, though. . . if you don't have any cells with other geometry running underneath the power and ground rails, then why don't you just extend the N-tap and P-tap layers across the width of the cell, which would (1) remove all errors and (2) make a better tap connection? While I'm at it. . . in the screenshot, there is no contact between the power and ground rail local interconnect layer and the metal1 layer above it. Is that intentional?
