I'm using open_pdks v 1.0.393 and the pfet file doesn't seem to have any bins in it. Is this something that has always been this way? The equivalent nfet corner file, has all the bin parameters in it. @Tim Edwards?

I believe the
.model
bins are in the included
sky130A/libs.ref/sky130_fd_pr/spice/sky130_fd_pr__pfet_01v8__tt.pm3.spice
file.

Oh, interesting, so they intentionally just don't have a bunch of unique parameters per bin like the nmos model:

It's been 3 years since I've looked at this 🙂
s
but you are right the nfet corner.spice file defines some per-bin parameters that the pfet corner.spice does not. However I don't see these nfet parameters used in the pm3.spice file, so Not sure what is being done there...

@Matthew Guthaus: Like the sausage manufacturing process, you should never inspect the PDK too closely.
