Also, one thing to point out, yesterday I tested the IO with the USB connected to the USB A of my laptop and with that the IO low was failing, I just tested the same chip again, with a dongle from USB c to USB A and now the IO low does not fail. So I will test that again, but power deliver seems to be very important to the board.

Yep, I kinda wish the caravel board had a barrel jack that allows to feed power to the Nucleo board thru Vin.
