Yeah absolutely, there are projects that actually used cadence software. I think the amateur satellite radio project used cadence software...

Thats from the efabless.com website... So yeah... Its just, that most people cant help you and you need to figure out a lot of stuff on your own, but it should be doable...

and in the sky130 readthedocs is already a placeholder for cadence software... Sadly its still marked as ToDo...

I do have a teacher at my school, that used Cadence software... Ill ask him about that, when I see him again... He has worked actually with company internal PDKs... He might have some tips for you...
