I request efabless team to disable user comment in #announcements channel. Users unable to track the updates from efabless team for caravel branch updates for respective GFMPW-0 and MPW-8 shuttles. So most of them raised issue during precheck run for submission. Let user to post queries in #caravel #efabless #shuttle #shuttle-precheck #tapeout-job #openlane #openroad, not in #announcements. Hope it will help user community to understand the updates clearly.

@Matt Venn @Matt Liberty How about renaming #general to #announcements and #announcements to #general? It should be possible according to this help article: https://slack.com/help/articles/220105027-Use-the-general-channel-to-share-announcements.

I'm not an admin so I can't do anything. It would be confusing to have announcements in the general channel and visa versa
