Hello @Tim Edwards How can we block metal5 fill? I don't see a layer for that, as there is for metal4. Hopefully a way to block the fill around complex metal shapes without drawing equally complex blocking polygons.

The

fillblock

layer blocks fill on all metal layers (including metal4).

fillblock4

is not for metal4---it blocks fill on everything except metal5. I didn't create layers for blockage on every layer individually because I didn't see a pressing need for it.

We want to block fill around inductors in metal 5. We also have logos in metal 5

As I said, use

fillblock

(which is what I do around logos and other sensitive circuits).

I am not sure I understand. It seems to me that

fillblock

and

fillblock4

are two names for the same layer in Magic

It wasn't supposed to. I'll have to take a look at it.
