Hi everyone/@Tim Edwards , I am getting following DRC error(DRC complete is checked) while making nmos using deep n-well as i want the body of nmos to be connected to different node other than VSS : Error-> N-well overlap of Deep N-well < 0.4um outside, 1.03um inside (nwell.5a, 7). I didn't understand the error completely, do we need to make nwell across the deep n-well? I am attaching the drawn layout here.

Use the generator, it generates correct dnwell grom the first try. The nwell needs to extend over dnwell for 0.4 and end 1.03 from the edge of dnwell. It does not cover everything.

@Deepak; The deep nwell layer forms the bottom of a "bucket", you might say, and that "bucket" has to have walls. A complete ring of nwell around the edge of the deep nwell layer is what forms the wall of that bucket. Deep nwell structure are large, so you will need to allow for a lot of extra space for devices in deep nwell. Not all processes define the deep nwell layer this way; some of them define a layer that extends all the way up and does not need a ring around it to keep the p-region inside isolated. But the SkyWater process does.
