I checked the logs but I am not sure exactly what flags these violations.

whoops didn't see the 1 DRC

You may find the cause by checking the following files on open-galaxy desktop. ~/design/<project_name>/jobs/tapeout/...../outputs/klayout_met_density_report.xml ~/design/<project_name>/jobs/tapeout/...../logs/klayout_met_density.log

I've already checked them. There is no direct explanation in logs.

When I encountered the same violation, I had the following logs: klayout_met_density_report.xml: <description>0.55 max m5 ca pattern density</description> klayout_met_density.log: m5_ca_density is 0.55200.... In my case, m5_ca_density > 0.55 was the cause.

In my case, li1_ca_density is lower than 0.4 but it is labelled as WARN. I also wonder that whether these DRC violations could be waived.

@Abdullah YILDIZ the issue that users encountered issue was to a specific check per my message earlier. It seems you have a DRC violation in one of the checks.

@omla, Is it OK to waive it because it is flagged as warning?

very unlikely any tapeout error / warning will be waived. For next time, I encourage you to get your design in and taped out much earlier, so you hit problems earlier and give us more time to troubleshoot them.

We had this issue before for one of our previous designs which was sent to another fab. The fab had a DRM which states that warnings are waived by default; we also submitted waiver request for certain DRC violations. That is why I would like to understand if it is possible.

@Abdullah YILDIZ as @Matt Venn said it's unlikely we can waive an error at this time. @jeffdi if you can find the time and look at the design and get back to @Abdullah YILDIZ regarding why he got this issue, it would be great.
