Does anyone has an estimate of how long it takes to install the open_pdks?

No, it should usually take around 10 minutes at most

Though you can also install a docked container containing all of the tools and more already pre installed

Hello all,
I am facing the same issue with an installation that looks to be hanged. It seems some magic threads (picture) are there for more than an hour.
I have pulled 2 hours ago the latest magic, sky130water-pdk, and open_pdk and tried the dance in a new ubuntu installation.

<@U03EDQ2DR4L> I 've been having exactly the same problem for the last 4 days. It gets stuck at the same line as in your screenshot.

Mdiba, pull the very latest commit for magic from today. That solves the problem.
