@User is mpw-3 going to get pushed until caravel core is updated? Is there a way to spin our mpw-1 projects with a corrected caravel core?

Yeah wondering about this too. The submitted GDS for each project includes the entire caravel plus the user project, but if the placement of the inner user project and its top level IO are consistent across all projects, could any GDS patching be automated in this case? This is of course assuming that a fix / patch is being considered for MPW1 projects.

Well if the problem is with the flow, the user projects would potentially have the same kind of error in their clock tree ... so patching out the caravel would be pointless.

we are working on updates for mpw-2 and mpw-3 to correct the clock tree timing issues. not sure the impact on the schedule at this time.
