why do we use WLCSP? I thought it was the cheapest option but apparently it's not.

Not sure, but the alternative would require dicing

@Matt Venn: It was a requirement from Google. It is not cheap for low volume, but given that we are planning to use the same mask set for all MPW runs, it may be cheaper in the long run.
