was that @User? As far as I know no projects have moved onto provider confirmed for tapeout stage. None of mine have. Rameen, can you confirm? @User is the person to answer this one

@User yes, indeed, I saw a post from @User about a confirmed status for tapeout. But maybe I misunderstood. I'm just curious if this is a gradual decision or all at once?

I don't know , in this case I imagine it's a mistake by Rameen.

Yesterday i have received couple email Notification: on my project and project activity tab text saying ---------------------------------------------- Provider has Confirmed stage submission --------------------------------------------- But the "Provider Icon" was still red .. Now sure on the process here

@User The interface is a bit confusing. There are 4 stages: submission, tapeout, fabrication & close. Each stage can be confirmed by the submitter (you) & the provider (efabless). For the MPW5 shuttle all projects with a successful tapeout job were confirmed for the submission phase. So they now advanced to the tapeout stage (which shouldn't be confused with the tapeout job). The new stage starts again as submitter & provider unconfirmed, but now the "tapeout" is highlighted among the stages. Jeff will mark your design as provider confirmed for the tapeout stage if it is chosen for the shuttle. As far as I know, no project has been chosen yet.
