@tnt: I know this might sound weird to suggest, but did you try re-running DRC on the same exact design with the same exact configurations?

@tnt: I am confused, but Amr may be right; magic saves the DRC state and DRC errors as part of the output .mag file for a cell, and when it reads it back it will not update the DRC but just display what was in the layout at the time the .mag file was written. The scripts change views a lot, which is effectively undermining that system. So you could be looking at "stale" errors that were saved in the layout file. In which case running a complete "drc check" will force an update.
