@User : There are a number of such small errors in maybe a dozen or so of the standard cells. I really do not understand them at all. They really are in error according to the rules. Yet if passed through the Calibre deck, Calibre does not raise an error. Which has me totally confused. My inclination is to ignore Calibre and just fix the cells, because I have yet to find an error that could not be easily fixed in the GDS just by moving the edge of poly or a contact by a tiny bit. I have a patch in open_pdks that fixes a handful of the cells, but since I made that patch, others have been discovered.

I see, so maybe the best thing is that I modify the layout. But I would need to do it in a way not to break LVS. I need to try and run my design through the pre-check and see if it fails as a result. If not I can live with it as is.
