This can be ok, but I often like to check it out. If there is truly symmetry in the design, it is possible, but usually magic will use names or other information to resolve them in a smart way.

If you have, for example, a 32-bit register in a module, LVS can't distinguish which input and output correspond to which in the layout without additional information. They all look the same. However, with the names, it can resolve it
