@User Could it be that the problem is the name of power and ground? I currnetly name my cells VDD and GND, but the Skywater cells have them VPWR and VGND. Could that cause the problem with the ext2spice abutment ?

Not sure what you mean by "ext2spice abutment". The name of the rails shouldn't matter. That they have the same layer type at the point of abutment does matter. What are you seeing in the output netlists that is wrong?

Ok, the problem is actually in extract, not in ext2spice. On first sight I dont see anything wrong in the output netlist, the relevant cells are connected properly.

I couldn't figure out that problem yet, but I changed openlane now to ignore those warnings, and that way openlane successfully completed the flow. 0 DRC issues, 0 LVS issues.
