Dear all, I just started with Magic and Sky130A. How can I enable the "p-cells" (tookit devices) dropdown menu option? I am assuming that I need to run this tcl file, but I am quite not sure how. Any help? Many thanks ^_^. Anas.

Assuming that open_pdks installed into

/usr/local/share/pdk/

, then run magic with

magic -rcfile /usr/local/share/pdk/sky130A/<http://libs.tech/magic/sky130A.magicrc|libs.tech/magic/sky130A.magicrc>

(Note that the startup file just sources the Tcl script, but what it is doing is configuring magic to add the extra menus whenever it creates a new layout window. If you source the file from the command line, then the window has already been created, so you won't see anything until you open a new layout window.)
