@User: Currently, I needed to add two power stripes on met4, so I can automatically route power to the block by dropping vias from met5 (see pictures) because of the dense power grid. I remember that you mentioned a newer power grid router that would reduce the needed resources making it possible to drop the vias directly on the internal power grid? Will this (or a similar alternative) be part of the release?

Yes, at some point. It basically makes a Steiner tree instead of a grid, but there are still a couple issues with blockages.
