@User I presented QFN package @FOSDEM for Retro-uC and got remark that QFN is a PITA to solder yourself and QFP is much more maker friendly.

I always have an easier time soldering QFN (and I mean manual solder even using an iron, not even hot-air) than QFP. The lack of leads makes the bridges clear up way more easily. With QFP I always endup with bridges to clear ...
