I just had a phone-call with a professor from india who would be interested in porting the SERDES they developed for research purposes from a proprietory 65nm process to Sky130 to opensource it. They have only 2 people at the moment who could work on it so they would be happy to get help. So if anyone is interested in helping them, or working together in some other way, we can get that organized. Hmm, sounds a bit like we should start a SERDES channel 🙂
