07/29/2020, 3:34 PMIt might actually be possible to make a PIN diode, looking at how those are constructed and other devices in the process / available masks and implants. But ... there is no sim model and no characterization for them so you'd have to do that yourself I guess.
But I'm an ASIC beginner too so ...
