You need the line

.lib /path/to/sky130.lib.spice tt

pointing to the open_pdks installation of the PDK models, such as

/usr/local/share/pdk/sky130A/libs.tech/ngspice/sky130.lib.spice

. Also, if you get the "No compatibility mode selected" message, you should copy the

spinit

file from the same directory into your local directory and rename it to

.spiceinit
