I'm trying to perform an LVS, but I came across an issue where it seems like one pin is replacing another?
The pins in question are "vssa2_pin" and "gnd_raw". Both of these serve as a ground for separate crossbar circuits (two instances of the same device) but "vssa2_pin" is also the ground for a couple other peripheral devices.
When I try to extract and ext2spice on Magic, it seems to ignore "vssa2_pin". According to the comp.out, Magic combines connections for both pins and assigns them to "gnd_raw".
@Jason Xie I suspect that both nets are connected to the nmos bulk net psubstrate.
If you need these to be physically separate, use deep nwell with an nwell guard ring connected to the nwell voltage (multiple nwell voltages inside deep nwell are not possible).
If you’re ok with
gnd_raw
and
vssa2
being connected through the high resistance substrate (many designs are), then you can surround one region with
